Artist Biography: Kitagawa Tsukimaro. Go= Bokutei, Kansetsusai, Kikumaro, Tsukimaro, Yusai; Ukiyo-e painter, printmaker; lived in Edo; Utamaro's" best" pupil; Illustrated Kusazoshi; Signed first as Kikumaro, Tsukimaro after 1804, no prints made after 1818 and took name of Kansetsu.
