Artist Biography: Born Antwerp, baptised there 27 April 1642.Died in Paris 3 June 1679 (or 1680?). Sometimes called Francisque I to distinguish him from his son Jean-FranÁois Millet the Y., or Francisque Millet II (b. Paris 1666, died there 17 April 1723).
