Artist Biography: Born Lucretia Le Bourgeois in St. Louis, Missouri on 30 June 1882. Moved to Berkeley in the 1920*s (after her marriage?). Died 27 July 1970 in Stanford University Hospital ( San Francisco or Palo Alto? Edan Milton Hughes does not say in the 2nd edition of Artists in California 1786-1940, p. 574).
