Artist Biography: Born in the Palace Hotel 9/3/11876. 1906-1918 worked in London, 1926 studied Ecole des beaux-Arts in paris and in Rome. REturned to san francisco in 1932 and worked there for the rest of his life. Illustrator for the San Francisco Chronicle and portrait painter.
