Artist Biography: Sir Charles D*Oyley, 7th Baronet. Born 1781 in Calcutta of English parents. Died in Livorno (Italy) in 1845. Educated in England, worked for the British East India Company. Returned to England in 1838 and lived much of the rest of his life in Italy.
