Artist Biography: Born 1819 in Beaumont. Patented process in 1861 for photographs on jewelry ( Microscope Bijou). Developed other micrographic skills, used especially in Franco-Prussian war. Early aerial photography (1878). Studio in Paris at 34 boul. Bonne-Nouvelle and 1 rue Hauteville in 1897. died June 1900 in Paris.
