Artist Biography: Painter in Rome.Born in Nettuno, near Rome, before 30 November 1599. Died in Rome on 21June 1661. Son and pupil of Benedetto Sacchi, worked with Francesco Albani, then studied Raphael, Polidoro da Caravaggio and the antiques. Worked for the Cardinal Barberini in Rome.Carlo Maratta among his pupils.
