Artist Biography: Born in Chesterield, Devonshire in 1822. First photographic studio 1850 as Frith and Hayward in Liverpool. First trip to Egypt 1856.1859 opened firm of F. Frith & Co. in Reigate, Surrey. Died in Reigate 1898. Family continued firm.Firm sold in 1968, closed 1971.
