Artist Biography: Engraver and goldsmith. Called "Master of the Unicorn." Goldsmith for for Francis I and Henri II of France. Engraved over 60 plates, including "The Apocolypse," the "Annunciation," a series of animals, and several allegorical subjects - including the unicorn.~~Died after 1561 (nearer 1570?) - Benezit~~Reference: Robert-Dumesnil, A.-P.-F.
