Artist Biography: Born in Venice, son of Giovanni Battista Piranesi. Worked with his father etching his plates, designed and etched some of the Views of Rome. Published editions of his father's prints in Rome after his death, then moved to Paris where he continued to publish editions from the same plates. Died in Paris 1807.
