Artist Biography: Born in Verona 1727 and died at Rome in 1794. Worked in etching, engraving and dry-point. Went to Rome at age 33 to work for the English architect R. Adams, for whom he engraved 13 views bfrom the designs of Clerisseau. Also made 22 plates for the Schola Italica Picturae published by Gavin Hamilton in London, 1773.
