Artist Biography: Ventura di Arcangelo Salimbeni, called Bevilacqua. Painter and etcher, born 1567/1568 in Siena, son of painter Arcangelo Salimbeni and Battista Morelli, half-brother of Francesco Vanni. In Rome from 1588-96 during which time he made his 7 etchings.
