Artist Biography: Girolamo Romani Romanino, called Girolamo Brescia or Hieronymus Brescia. Born in Brescia ca. 1484-1487. Member of the guild of painters in Brescia in 1510, active also in Verona, Trento, Padua, etc. Last known painting 1557 in Modena. Died in Brescia in or after 1562.
