Artist Biography: Painter in Rome and Viterbo, called il Viterbese, or Raffaello or il Raffaellino. Born in Viterbo in 1610. In Rome as pupil, colleague, and rival of Pietro da Cortona. A favorite of the Cardinal Francesco Barberini, recommended by him to Cardinal Mazarin in Paris. Died in Viterbo in 1662.
