Artist Biography: Born in Genoa on 27 February 1554. Died in Genoa on 15 March 1627. Painter, sculptor and writer. Pupil of Luca Cambiaso. 1579-1599 exiled from Genoa after killing his oppponent in a quarrel. Worked in Florence, Bologna, etc.
