Worked for Church of S. Agostino, popes Innocent XII and Clement XI (restored Raphael's stanze). Entered Accademia S. Luca 1662 and served as principe. Created a cavaliere (knight of Christ) by Pope Clement XI, named first painter by Louis XIV. Most of his prints seem to be early works (pre-1660).
