Artist Biography: Born in Cortona, died in Rome at age 60 while Urban VIII was Pope (between 1623 and 1644). Called Il Gobbo (hunchback) da Cortona or Il Gobbo dei Carracci, or Il Gobbo da Frutti; Worked for the Carracci, famous for skill in painting fruit (i.e. still life);
