Artist Biography: Neapolitan painter, active 1740-1756, according to BÈnÈzit and Thieme-Becker. According to W.G. Constable (*Carlo Bonavia*, Art Quarterly, vol. XXII, no. 1, Spring, 1959, pp. 19 ff., see excerpt in file), known paintings are dated 1755-1760, and then 1787-1788.
