Artist Biography: Born in Palermo 1616, moved to Naples 1644, then Rome to work for Lanfranco. Lived on Via Margutta near the Spanish Steps, and there met Jean Dughet for whom he produced workds after Poussin. Member of Accademia S. Luca from 1652. Died in Naples 22 July 1692.
