Artist Biography: Engraver and specialist in coins and medals. Went to Rome to work for Salamanca and Barlacchi, earliest known engravings date from 1541.Left in 1545 to work for the Medici in Florence, then in Venice, and finally in 1563 went to work at the court of Alfonso d'Este II in Ferrara.~~Reference: Bartsch, Adam von.
