Artist Biography: Painter and sculptor. Born 27 February 1901 in Pistoia, studied at Academy of Art in Florence. In Paris 1928-29, and from 1929-40 taught at the School of Art at the Villa Reale in Monza. In 1940 he became Professor of Sculpture at the Brera in Milan.
