Artist Biography: Printmaker, etcher; born in Bromberg on 10/25/1865; died in Berlin on 07/24/1908;~From a review of an exhibition at the Brohan Museum in Berlin March 2000 (from the Internet): In 1892 co-founder with Max Liebermann of the Verinigung des XI (Society of 11), in 1898 secretary of the Berlin Sezession, in 1903 a founder, along with Graf Kessler, of the Deutschen Kunstlerbund in Weimar.
