Artist Biography: Name spelled various ways.Born in Franeker ca. 1625. Died in Germany after 1675.Active in Dordrecht and Amsterdam ca. 1648-1649 and possibly in the 1650*s. Court painter to Johann Georg II of Saxony 1662-1675.
