Artist Biography: A pupil of Gleyre. Had work, mainly watercolors, in the Salons of 1857, 1864 and 1865. Worked with Cadart, notably Un MarchÈ italien, 1865. In the latter part of his life he devoted himself primarily to work in the field of caricature under the pseudonym ofStop.
