Artist Biography: Illegitimate younger brother of Gaspard-FÈlix Tournachon (Nadar). Born in Paris 25 August 1825.Studied photography with Gustave LeGray 1854. Sued by brother in 1857 to stop using name *Nadar*. Lost studio from gambling in 1860*s. Went mad in 1880, hospitalized at Neuilly 1889-1902. Died in Paris 1903.
