Artist Biography: Painter, draftsman, lithographer, etcher. Born HENRI-MARIE-RAYMONDE DE TOULOUSE-LAUTREC-MONFA . With great psychological insight, observed and documented the personalities and other facets of Parisian night life and modern culture in the 1890s. Use of free-flowing, expressive line, often becoming pure arabesque, resulted in highly rhythmical compositions.
