Artist Biography: Born March 5, 1940 in township of Shiranui in Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu. 1963 graduated from Tokyo University of Art, won prizes in Japan Print Association exhibitions 1967 and 1968, won Grand Prix in Sixth International Biennial Exhibition of Prints, Tokyo.
