(Catalog #108, New Guinea Art: Masterpieces from the Jolika Collection of Marcia and John Friede, 2005, Volume 2, p. 99.) PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "This long slim figure has a boar's head below. These figures were attached to a framework and worn on a dancer's back in initiation ceremonies. A fine example from the Stéphen Chauvet Collection, Paris, is published in Newton, 1967, fig. 43."
