EXHIBITIONS: 1974 - Société Générale de Banque, Brussels, 1974, "Masques du Monde." PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "The horizontal stick behind the mask was held in the mouth of the dancer. European decorative elements were often applied to New Guinea ceremonial objects, both for their striking artistic contribution and because they were thought to convey the powerful magic of the Europeans to the object in question."
