Artist Biography: (none) PROVENANCE: "Collected by Pierre Langlois in the 1950s." (Catalog #58, New Guinea Art: Masterpieces from the Jolika Collection of Marcia and John Friede, 2005, Volume 2, p. 92.) PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "Adjirab (Adjora) mortars are richly decorated. This one has two figures and two birds in high relief, along with masks, complex symbols, and "dog tooth" and other design elements."
