Artist Biography: Born ca. 1586 (BÈnÈzit says ca. 1581) in Bolsward. Brother of Boetius Adams Bolswert with whom he went to Brussels. Settled in Antwerp.Friend and interpreter of Rubens. Died in Antwerp 22 December 1659.
