PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "This extraordinary male figure was acquired from Gaston de Havenon as part of an exchange of my Fang figure from the Helena Rubinstein Collection, New York, for his group of small New Guinea gems. We were in his office concluding the exchange when Gaston noticed this piece was missing from the group. he sent his secretary home to get it. I had no knowledge whatsoever of its existence.
