Artist Biography: (none) PROVENANCE: "Collected by Lynda Cunningham on the North Coast in the 1960s." (Catalog #36, New Guinea Art: Masterpieces from the Jolika Collection of Marcia and John Friede, 2005, Volume 2, p. 88.) PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "The figure has a topknot hairstyle similar to the two terminals on the previous object [Food dish, #35]. Fragments of related figures have been found by Michael Hamson in Sassoya, a mountainous Boiken village east of Yangoru." (Catalog #36, New Guinea Art: Masterpieces from the Jolika Collection of Marcia and John Friede, 2005, Volume 2, p. 88.)
