PROVENANCE: Jolika Collection of New Guinea Art
PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "See previous entry. Rather than New Guinea, this skull brings to mind the greenstone Egyptian heads in the Pergamon Museum, Berlin. It was one of the first pieces to enter our collection. The only other skull I have seen with a similar surface is in the Acher Eskenazy Collection, Paris, and is published in Le Fur 1999: 153.
