EXHIBITIONS: 1991 - The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, 1991, "New Guinea Bone Carvings." PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "The five concentric circles represent the sun and are also a stylized version of the ngwalndu face. The horizontal chevrons, ara, represent the woven panels of the spirit house, korambo (Noel Mc Guigan, personal communication)."
