PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "The dramatic impression of this board is heightened by its unusual curved form. A board with similar motifs in the British Museum was collected on the Cook Daniels Expedition in 1905 (Newton, 1961, fig. 119). There is another in the Field Museum, Chicago, which, like the British Museum piece, has the ovals carved as openwork above and below the figure (Guiart, 1963, fig. 110)."
