PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "It is possible that this figure originally was a suspension hook. Something, perhaps a carved loop, appears to have been cut off the back of the head. Also, in the National-museet, Copenhagen, there is a similar but less refined figure, which is described as a former suspension hook with its lower part missing. See Kjersmeier, 1948, pl. 7."
