Artist Biography: (none) PROVENANCE: "Collected by J. Viot in 1929. Robert Emile Bouchard Collection, Montreuil, France." (Catalog #563, New Guinea Art: Masterpieces from the Jolika Collection of Marcia and John Friede, 2005, Volume 2, p. 184.) PUBLICATIONS: 2005 - "Emile Bouchard called the piece "Monsieur l'Haricot" (Mr. Bean). His beautiful collection is perhaps best characterized by this tiny exquisite object, which was one of his favorites." (Catalog #563, New Guinea Art: Masterpieces from the Jolika Collection of Marcia and John Friede, 2005, Volume 2, p. 184.) 1992 - Kooijman and Hoogerbrugge in Greub, 1992: pl. 94, right.
