Artist Biography: Born Otis William Oldfield in Sacramento, California in 1890. did not use his middle name professionally. Studied at Best Art School, S.F. and Julian Academy, Paris. Murals in Coit Tower, windows, S.F. Stock Exchange. Exhibited Salon des Independents, Salon d'Automne, Paris, 1912-24. In 1962 Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing, California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland. Lived in San Francisco.
