Artist Biography: Born in Stratford-on-Avon 1850. Studio in New York from ca. 1880-1930, retired to Brighton, England in 1931, died there 11 May 1936. Known for city views and architectural drawings, many for architectural firms of McKim, Mead and White, York and Sawyer, and Cass Gilbert.
