Artist Biography: Born December, 1875 at Vilenova y Gestru, in his eighteenth year went to Paris and lived on Montmartre until 1911 when he returned to Barcelona. Painter, patellist and etcher as well as lithographer, he knew Steinlen and Willette, was befriended with Picasso and influenced Picasso's "Blue Period." Lived in Sitges near Barcelona. See: L.
