Artist Biography: Muralist, lithographer, landscape painter. Born in San Francisco. Studied at the CSFA under Spencer Makey, and later taught there. In 1934, he was one of 26 artists commissioned by the Federal Public Works of Art Project so paint murals in Coit Tower, his subject the meat industry. He died in Oakland on Dec. 18, 1986.
