Artist Biography: Painter and printmaker, born in 1924 in Seattle, Washington. Resident of Paris, France since 1948. Studied in Mexico, France and Japan. Travels regularly between the western United States, Japan and Europe. Works in abstract-expressionist idiom. Better known and admired in Europe and Japan than in his home country.
