Artist Biography: Born at Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1915. Educated at Kendall Memorial Art School and Kansas City Art Institute. Spent three months in Mexico in 1944 on a Guggenheim Fellowship; received Tiffany Scholarship in 1948.
