Artist Biography: Kitagawa (formerly Toriyama) Shimbi.Go= Entaisai, Issoshurichosai, Mokueun, Sekiyo, Utamaro. Studio name= Murasakiya, Shibaya. Painter and printmaker in Edo. Pupil of Toriyama Sekien, inlfuenced by Masanobu and Kiyonaga.
