Artist Biography: Utagawa Toyoshige. Go=Gosotei (Kosotei), Gosotei Toyokuni, Ichibetsusai, Ichieisai, Ichiryusai, Kunishige, Toyokuni.Lived in Edo. Pupil and son-in-law of Toyokuni. Called himself Toyokuni II after Toyokuni died in 1825, challenged by other pupils and resumed name of Toyoshige.
