Artist Biography: Painter, born Florence ca.1487, died there 1530. Son of a tailor, learned goldsmithing and engraving before entering the workshop of Piero di Cosimo. Worked in Paris in 1518, returned to Florence where he painted in the Church of the SS. Annunziate, the Cloister of the Scalzo, and many panel paintings.
