Artist Biography: Education: 1974; received a BA from Boston University. 1974-76 studied at Harvard University. 1979; awarded an MFA in painting and printmaking, Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford, England. Barbara Parsons specializes in viscosity etching techniques. During the latter part of 1989 she travelled extensively in central Europe. She witnessed the sweeping political changes throughout that region; this was a strong influence on her work.
